The Xsheng gel-filled shell is constructed of successive cross-linked layers of silicone BioMedical Grade ETR Elastomers ( Dow Corning and NuSil), which give the breast implant its elasticity and integrity. The Xsheng implants are textured to optimize tissue adherence and lower the risk of capsular contraction and the shell is extra textured to provide a disruptive surface for collagen interface. The cohesive gel is more cross-linked than our standard silicone gel and does not migrate in the case of an implant's rupture, cohesive Gel-Filled Material provides greater safety, and prevents leakage and migration from the shell in the event of rupture. Once implanted they will last for 10 years. The products are sterilized by x-Ray and have a two year use by date.
